New England Patriots’ Caedan Wallace to Visit Boys Town for Special Presentation of My Cause My Cleats
Boys Town, Neb. – (April 24, 2025) – NFL offensive lineman Caedan Wallace is heading to Boys Town on Friday, May 2 for a one-of-a-kind celebration that brings sports, art, and purpose together. Wallace will officially unveil the custom-designed cleats he wore during the NFL’s 2024 My Cause My Cleats campaign—designed by Boys Town art students—and meet the young artists who brought his vision to life.
This event marks the first time the cleats will be displayed on campus, following Boys Town’s winning bid in the NFL Auction. The cleats will be permanently showcased in the Boys Town Hall of History as a symbol of creativity, connection, and second chances.
“Getting to meet the students who helped bring this idea to life is something I’ve been looking forward to since day one,” said Wallace. “Their creativity, their vision, and their heart are all over these cleats—and I’m honored to help shine a light on what Boys Town represents.”
With support from 75 generous donors, Boys Town secured the cleats with a winning bid of $4,072.80. All proceeds went to support Boys Town New England’s Foster Care program. Worn by Wallace during Week 13 of the NFL season, the cleats highlight Boys Town’s mission of giving youth second chances and will now serve as a lasting emblem of partnership and hope.
“From student designs to a national campaign, to now welcoming Caedan to both our New England and Nebraska campuses—it’s a full-circle moment,” said Sarah Galvin, Executive Director of Boys Town New England. “We’re proud to showcase the cleats in our Hall of History, where they’ll continue to inspire for years to come.”
Wallace’s visit marks a historic first for Boys Town: he is the first NFL player to partner with the organization for the My Cause My Cleats initiative and visit campus in person. While at Boys Town, Wallace will meet with the student artists, celebrate their collaboration, and take part in the ceremonial presentation of the cleats at the Hall of History. Following the ceremony, students will have a chance to share their design inspiration, walk through their creative process, and engage in a Q&A with Wallace.
